A brand new product from GLR. O narrow gauge quarry buffers!

These couplings have been scale modelled off of real quarry hunslets. The real prototype has a metal bar with loop that pivots upwards into the groove in the centre of the coupling, and rolling stock would couple with a chain and downwards facing hook through the loop. Sooner than the large rivets that mount the buffer plate onto springs, this instead has two magnets, and is designed to compliment the NG7 Maglink couplings. Because of this prototype, I'm offering the Maglink couplings with hooks facing downwards to match the prototype.

These have been designed to wiggle in the pockets, allowing slight sideways motion, though have not been fully tested when coupled to each other on stock. This coupling is best suited to locomotives. In conjunction with our Maglink couplings, you can achieve rather tight cornering!
