This model is designed to fit an unmodified Hornby ‘Smokey Joe’ chassis (not supplied) and is designed to represent a Fletcher Jennings saddle tank locomotive like 'Talyllyn' on an incorrect wheelbase. It is geared towards a younger or inexperienced modellers looking to start out in 7mm narrow gauge.

The kit features a removable roof and firebox to allow access to the cab interior for painting and detailing, plus the option to run the model as an open cab version. This kit will require sanding and the removal of some print supports before painting. The bars between the sides and rear of the cab and roof are supports for the curing process and can be safely removed.
